Reading the World, Embracing Change: How to Transform Yourself and Society

Reading the World, Changing the World

“Change is a phenomenon in the world.”
“Nothing is permanent in an ever-changing world.”

Changes over time are a natural process. Habits evolve, people’s mentality and behavior shift, and progress is seen all around the world.

A man may be very strict and have fixed notions about certain activities. He may want his children to follow specific rules at home. But over the years, when he observes the world around him, he softens and becomes ready to accept changes. He adjusts to life, and things flow more smoothly.

Similarly, a woman may be strict when needed with her children and husband to maintain discipline, but her heart is tender, and she goes to any extent to protect them.

Changes Happen All Over the World

“I will never change, whatever happens.” We have often heard people say this. But can it really happen?

Today, we are witnessing tremendous changes all over the world. Human behavior has become so self-centered that many do not wish to listen to others. Everyone wants to be in the frontline.

Within a family, each member has their own way of doing things. Some rise early and complete their work, valuing their health and ‘me time,’ while others wake up late and feel irritated when they cannot finish their tasks. Clashes of opinions occur, sometimes settling quickly, other times lingering as trivial issues. This is life.

In society, some thoughtful individuals try to change people’s mindsets. They may face criticism, but if they are determined, changes can happen—like the upliftment of women and the fight for women’s rights. Some women form groups to educate home helpers, bringing positive change to many lives.

A Change in a Country’s Development

From a home to society and then to the country—national development depends on the changes the country needs. Everyone must contribute to help the government implement positive changes for the greater good.

No one can impose change on anyone forcibly. It requires patience, understanding, and the give-and-take principle. It may take years to see meaningful results, but the outcomes are worth it.

Will the World Be Ready to Accept Change?

Natural changes—like earthquakes, floods, landslides, and riots—occur unpredictably. Will people be prepared to face them and stand strong?

Ultimately, change is a matter of time. Be alert to the changes happening around you and move forward in life. Changes are essential to learn new things, foster personal development, and bring progress to society and nations.

Hoping for positive changes in everyone’s life and for our country.
