Eternal Love

#EternalLove

The proverb, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ captures the nuances of motherly love irrespective of familial relations or gender.

As creations and embodiments of God, we are not separate but we are all one. It is our responsibility to acknowledge this and to recognize our duty to care for one another. And only a mother can demonstrate how to showcase compassion towards one another. When society as a whole, practices unconditional love for all we can help take care of one another with utmost integrity and positive affirmations.

This can happen only when one is capable of practicing self-love. One has to let go of criticism and consider oneself as a beautiful creation that is here for a grand purpose. Treat yourself with the same love, compassion and dignity you would treat others with. Doing so will only assist you to spread the magical eternal love onto others.

There are qualities of motherly love that any of us can implement to nurture not only our children but even for ourselves and fellow beings. Whether or not we are mothers, we can still practice acts of mindfulness. Such as :

• Practicing patience

• Supporting one another in times of fear, uncertainty and self-doubt

• Having faith in God.

• Nurturing people and allowing mutual growth.

• Being generous whenever possible

• Protecting and nurturing our relationships, home or the environment.

To sum it up, my point of view is that implementing such mindfulness in our everyday lives will only strengthen our belief in goodwill and help spread eternal love to the world.
