In our whole life, we every day face decisions of ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. Right from the morning breakfast — “What to make?” — to a “Goodnight’s Sleep,” we keep thinking Yes or No.
Early morning, we have many options to make breakfast like idly, vada, dosa, etc. We ask our family members what to make; they give the answer — Yes or No. When we dress up, again we have ample opportunities as to which dress to wear. There also, we have to make a choice quickly — Yes or No.
After a bath, we start to prepare for lunch. There also, we have ample choices — like biryani, pulao, or just plain rice. As to the curry, we decide which dal or vegetable to make. The choices are plenty — brinjal, carrots, palak paneer, etc. It is a choice for us to make — Yes or No.
When we choose our life partner, we have many expectations from them. We see their height, whether they look good and complement us, whether their likes match up to ours or not, what their earning capacity is, and how their family members are. We make a choice after seeing photos of them and dating them — and decide, Yes or No.
When we choose our education, there also we have ample choices like Economics, Management, Commerce, Engineering, Computers, Information Technology, etc. We make our choice as to which subject we have an interest in and which subject we are good at. We have to make a choice — Yes or No.
Even when we choose a job, we have many choices — teacher, call centre, manager, accountant, poet, writer, or our own business. We decide according to our liking and the ability to handle the required responsibility. There also, we have to make a decision — Yes or No.
Even when writing poems, we have to choose the right blend of words that come into our mind — whether we want to make our write-ups hilarious, serious, casual, or give a message to the world through them. We take a decision — Yes or No.
At every stage of life, we face Yes or No.
Every day, every minute, and decisions on the go.
If we take the wrong decision, we feel low,
Sometimes our decisions give us a blow.
Yes or No is a whole life clash,
It may be a decision to organise a birthday bash.
But to pray and lead a healthy and happy life is a ‘Yes,’
And to be away from bad company and negativity is a ‘No.’
