Yes, I have made time to write a blog after a long time. In spite of a tremendous workload, I have managed to say No to some appointments and devoted some quality time for myself. It’s an act of self-love that I am showing up for.
Your commitment is your path. You are a rising star, an author of your own destiny, if you can say Yes to something and No to many others. Shut the door on some haters; if you are tired of wearing a fake smile, leave it behind and walk along.
In the end, no one can make you happy. You can be happy only by yourself. So, love yourself—an entire aura of pure bliss is eagerly waiting for you. Embrace it. Learn to say No; I swear it’s an art. It can make your path a lot smoother. Life is a roller coaster ride, so fasten your seat belt and start the journey. It’s your life—keep steering it in your hands.
Say No to injustice, humiliation, negative people, hatred, and jealousy—things that put bad reflections in the mirror of your life.
Say Yes to kindness, love, care, support, positive people, and gratitude for everything that you have achieved.
The world will start to change soon. A better face, a soft note, or a melancholy tune can lift your mood. I know nothing changes overnight, but a single step every day can do a lot. Setting boundaries is also a difficult task, a hurdle; love for someone can need support at times, but I know that after a storm, calmness reigns.
I wait eagerly for the day to come, to see a better tomorrow where denial in some form can become an approval in another form.
Let’s join hands in this festive season to say Yes to all good things and No to all evils, so that light shines everywhere.
I find solace in lots of No’s and some Yes’s. The changing world wants so many mantras, but those leading to love, serenity, and prosperity are the best ones. Human attitudes are evolving; we are becoming more conscious about ourselves, which leads us to clearer visions. We can say No to many uncomfortable situations. Saying No is not guilty—it’s situation management. Say Yes to some me-time: a book, a pen, some lost music, an old dress, all of which can lift your mood rather than going to parties to keep up with the fast pace of today’s world.
After all, when the sun sets at the end of your day, how you have utilized it depends entirely on you. So, brace yourself for the happy moments.
